Tim Pembina Olimpiade Astronomi (TPOA) Indonesia

TPOA is a team that provides coaching and training for Indonesian high school students to compete in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) and the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO). TPOA is also responsible for organizing the National Science Olympiad (OSN) in Astronomy for high school students. In TPOA, I was a part of the technical members who were mainly responsible for managing the inventory and assets of TPOA. Here are some of my roles in TPOA:

Jury Assistant Coordinator in OSN 2024 on Astronomy (Aug - Sep 2024)

• Led a jury assistant team consisting of 10 people
• Maintained communication with juries, assistant juries, the school, and students
• Prepared and conducted an observation round test for 100 students

Astronomical Coaching Team for the IESO 2024 (Nov 2023)

• Taught basic astronomy to the students
• Introduced how to use telescope for the students
• Prepared solar fluxmeters for practical test

Jury Assistant in OSN 2023 on Astronomy (Aug - Sep 2023)

• Prepared and conducted an observation round test for 100 students
• Introduced how to use telescope for the students
• Helped to manage the logistics issues

Public Outreach Team in Solar Eclipse 2023 at Bosscha Observatory (Apr 2023)

• Educated people about astronomy and eclipse
• Prepared a telescope for public outreach
• Guided people to observe the solar eclipse using a telescope and eclipse glasses

Observational Coaching Team for IOAA 2023 (Feb & Jun 2023)

• Taught observational astronomy to the students
• Introduced how to use telescope for the students
• Evaluated the students performance in observation
